Today I shall toddling along to the poll-dancing and placing my ballot slip in the box, then I'll be mostly exploring why the C-Ma_ persists on intermittently cutting out again.

I'll improvise from there...
Good luck with it all GR.

With the C-max some cheap elimination stuff.
Fuel filter
Clean MAF
Check all earth cables.
Fuel pump relay.
Not so cheap but highly likely.
Failing rectifier pack on the alternator.

All the above will give intermittent problems on the C-max
Thanks for the helpful pointers, Magoo, most kind of you.

It's a diseasel TDCi C-Ma_, and it starts fine but then just cuts out sporadically, showing up "Engine Systems Fault" on the dash display.
Plugging in my OBD II Code Reader, just shows "NO CODES".
I managed to get it running the other day by jiggling all the electrickle connector plugs I could find in the engine bay, and applying a good squirt of WD40 to them.
This morning I ran out of time so had to take Carys Yaris instead.
I'll make a concerted effort tomorrow to find the fault.
I'm sure it's just a dodgy connection or a dicky sensor.
It has been stood from last October until the end of May, which is no good for such a serfisticated piece of automotive machinery. Too bloody compelcateded with all these ECU gubbinses & ting.
A good dose of contact cleaner and WD usually works wonders.

Moustache now, I'm cooking up a dish of moules for Robbopoppetlet's dinner. She says that's her favourite! smile

Check that the electrodes on the battery aren't corroded and that the main earth to the front wing by the battery is intact, these can cause lots of running issues.
If possible check for air leaks in the fuel filter housing, again, it can be problematic.

Just been with Mrs H to put the cross on the paper.

Played 9 holes today, gave up as we were battling against 50 mph winds and sporadic precipitation. Made tee shots very interesting between me and my golfing mate we only managed to hit 6 fairways between us. Very difficult.

I finished the en suite decorating this morning and put everything back in so back to normal. Next assignment is to clean the carpets.

Been and marked my paper, not that it will make any great difference.
Here's to another 5 years of the economy being destroyed and having no money in your pocket.
The only difference is the colour they claim to represent politically speaking.

In other news, we took the doggos, the meathead is now asleep in a bed waaaay way too small for him, the Slopeshound is asleep on the big rug in the middle of the living room. Go figure.

IOTN - if any man is single and wants to attract the ladies, get an English Bulldog and the darker colour the better.
I'm not lying when i say i could easily have had half a dozen phone numbers tonight if i was single.
Fortunately, i had Her Ladyship with me at the time otherwise i could have got myself into BIG trouble yikes

Why would you phone a dentist to buy a new curlywurly?

Morning all. We awake to a new regime. I wonder how that’s all going to affect our daily lives. The wind has calmed down here and the sky looks inviting today. Here is your daily reminder. Have a happy Friday y’all.
