One for slopes. Popped up the drone yesterday, but was very windy when over 60m. Happy with this though

I meant to ask, what is this place?
Also curious!
One of the F1 teams I did some work with had something that looked very similar in the Oxfordshire countryside…maybe there?
Hum, it's not Williams at Wantage, I know their buildings.
Not Mercedes at Brackley, nor Aston at Silverstone. That hasn't changed much as the team name changes.
Was it Benetton at Witney, perchance?

I'm assuming it's in the village of West England seeing as Byker28i also posted this plus a picture of a nice beach in the Drone Pics thread

I’ve cut my building plot grass of 3,600 odd square metres, walked agent M and cleaned the house windows inside and out.
And would you believe it? It’s our third(3rd) wedding anniversary today already!

I just remembered as Madame M walked in from work this morning.

A woman in an Evoque honked at me to get out of the way. I was walking on the pavement and she wanted to park there.

Well, Evoques are supposed to have some off-road capabilities, so I fail to see your problem...

wink

Sorry, I couldn't help it! biggrin

Nope, that's in France, Snowy. Where they make those biscuits.

I thought about having a Tiananmen Square moment, but I had to get home and get the washing in.

Thats now Alpine - all square buildings

When we sponsored Marussia, well an old company I worked for, we did a photo shoot with Graham Lowdon (who was restoring an old TVR) and they had a circular building, but not with a dome.

McLaren hasn't a dome, but lots of glass onto a lake and they are Surrey, so can't think of where

Afternoon all, apologies for my inexcusable tardiness!!

I got caught up at breakfast this morning, ended up in a deep meaningful discussion with a colleague at lunch time and have only just found time to take 5 minutes now!!!

On top of the 3 projects I'm currently involved in I have the pleasure of a 17 yr old work experience student today, to be honest she's a very clever young lady and seems nice to boot!!

Congratulations Magoo and Mdme M on your anniversary!!

I guess so - Benetton, then Renault, then Lotus. Enstone was the tiny place - everything in a bit of a bowl, and their building went up by the last time I went (which was a few years back!).
Loved working with them - always far more interesting than banks, etc....

McLaren are in Woking. I was once a guest there at the Technical Centre when Mr Dennis was around. Fabulous place. You have to walk past the trophy cabinets to get to the canteen (restaurant) and again back to your work station. The walk from the car park to work is via a circular tunnel that takes the right amount of time for you to calm down after an M25 journey. The tunnel lighting is selected colours to help that calming process. Mr Dennis was very unusual, but very clever.

Thanks for the anniversary wishes folks.

We’ve got the afternoon together as it’s Wednesday and no school. Only another two days and she’s off for two (2) month’s.

Glad you’re about bobbers, I realised as I was cutting grass this morning I hadn’t seen anything from you early doors like.

Aardman Animations had the tiniest canteen I've seen in their old Bristol studio (near Brunel's SS Great Britain) - sure they have since moved (post fire), but they had a little cabinet in there with 5 Oscar's in. Another fabulous customer to visit.

We've got the police here, talking about ahole. Mrs B is giving a statement
I've been around daughters cutting back brambles and putting back up a curtain pole grandson pulled down. Held in with the tiniest screws...not anymore...

Those curtain poles won't be coming down again for a while.
