Progress report on the Tuesday project.

Status is green. I repeat, status is green.

- BMW Motorrad to honour warranty replacement to spenny bit of exhaust system as goodwill gesture
- Brownies collected and so far temptation for pokey finger related QA has been resisted
- Post-adjustment suits for number 1 son collected
- Girth, elevation, vividness, and ability to attract startled and disgusted looks from passers-by, of large spot on right temple, slightly reduced.

Leading indicators for a net positive day looking good, but there's a whole afternoon to be negotiated and no room for complacency.

Thanks for the comprehensive progress report, Fullook, but I really don't think it's permissable to go all finger-pokery where Brownies are concerned. I assume you are not a BBC celebrity?

You are correct in that there is no room for complacency.

Good aftermorn, one an dawl!

A nabsolute scorcher here in the Deep Sarf, perambulations completed, despite a local lane (part of my usual route) being closed off for "improvements", which will probably result in lumps in the places which were formerly depressions, or potholes. In view of the usual vehicular traffic consisting of, at most, around 20 vehicles per day (it's a single-track lane without passing places, about 400m long), I do wonder if the manpower and tarmac might be better employed fixing the craters elsewhere in our third-world road system, for the benefit of a greater number of taxpayers, but who am I to question the motives of the greater power?

Anway, the works will be completed today, according to the signs.

This afternoon will see me once again washing, claying, waxing and protecting another part of my Golf, in this instance it's the roof, tailgate and rear bumper, which will just about complete the job. Even though the main dealer from whom I bought the car did a very good job in making it clean, shiny and presentable for me, it's surprising how much I've managed to improve the finish of the paintwork with some quality products and much elbow grease, so it's been a worthwhile and rewarding exercise.

More sun and heat forecast for tomorrow, and probably the rest of the week. Enjoy it, but try not to overdo it!

Six (6) hundred (100) quid.

But I can't remember where the pothole was.

A fine recounting of your day so far Fullook, I'm just catching up with stuff so there may be a newer update for us.
