Morning all.

It's dawned bright and toasty in the northern powerhouse.

Today's agenda includes electronic signatures, brownies (collection thereof), bmw dealer (liaison therewith) and if I'm lucky later, towpath (walking thereupon). Oh, and work.

Morning all.

Apart from a day full of work, in a fit of Uber-triviality, I feel bound to report that I must break off at some point and retrieve my winter duvet from the dry cleaners.

Perhaps it's in disguise. Please confirm the whereabouts of your spare trilby, sunglasses and false nose.

We spent most of yesterday watching the harvesting of hay in the field next to our garden. Lots of dust house needs a clean now but the farmer has safely stowed 35 bales in his shed ready to feeds the equines.

Morning all it’s a bright sunny Tuesday.

Good morning All and the top of the morning to yez.
There is news.
We have another little foundling. Christine found another baby last night when she got up to wee. So I got up and fed it a little warm goat milk, making sure that the first little guy got some too. Then I refreshed the warm water bottle and went back to bed about two.
The new arrival is a little girl. Sweet little creature.
Fed them again at about half past five. They were cuddled up together in the pannetone box.
I don't know if they will make it, but it won't be a matter of lack of effort. We'll absolutely do our best for them.
I'll try for some pictures later.
Have a lovely day.

Good work, Team _404. thumbup
At least the little foundlings will stand a better chance in your foster-care than they would with with the Osbournes, or in the Scrungeon Batcave.
I'm surprised that Charlie ( fkoffyoulittlet**t ) didn't molest the poor little things.

You'll need to think about names for them: scratchchin
How about Pierre Pipistrelle Jean-Battiste and Marianne Battista?

Oh, and just one more ting:
How often do you have to milk the goat?

We have a man from the village to do that for us.
He also does our alcohol free days for us.
What a treasure.

Fabulous news 404, what a husbandry person you are. All our pipi squeaks have evacuated the maternity roost now, we had just over 100 of the little darlings. Just the House Sparrows remain nesting at the moment.

Beautiful day here, Mrs H is attempting a return to work today. I have a pondering day with little organised. I may head for the driving range later.

'Tis a wunnerfle sunny day here oop norf, but unfortunately I seem to have lost a sock.
It's a short plain light grey cotton-rich left hand one, if you happen to spot it hiding somewhere.
I have probed the darkest recesses of the Samsung ecobubble (TM) to no avail.
I hate it when socks go walkabout without me.irked

Never mind, at least the old Elbow Test was an encouraging negative (-ve) earlier today.

Let's get out there and enjoy all of the good stuff that this wonderful Tuesday has to offer! bounce

Oh. You've started without me?

Never mind.
Have a gnice day, yawl! wavey

I drove to the tyre place.

"Hello, you sent me an email yesterday offering 15% discount on Michelins. "
"Yeah, that's online."
"Which means?"
"We can't see the discount codes."
"Okay, er, could you give the full price and I'll work out the discount and see if I want go ahead."
"No, you have to do it online."
"How about, I drive round the corner, order them online and then drive back?"
"Suit yourself."

They used to be really good. I shall take my custom elsewhere.

Over the weekend, as is my usual practice, I sent my monthly meter readings to my energy supplier, stating my name, address, account number and the up-to-date figures.

______ooooOOOOoooo____

Dramatic stuff, eh?
I wonder, did "Irene" select an inappropriate generic response?

Note: I have always paid by direct debit.
I have repeatedly asked them to stop pressing me to have a smart meter installed, and to stop wasting billpayers money by sending me reminders every few weeks via the post, and I have opted out of their customer surveys several times now.
And I wish they would

Thanks Hammo, but I'm afraid that's the wrong sock. frown
Although that one is a leftie sock, ( ex-BBC? ) it is a woollen one, and unsuitable for summer wear.
What's more, those ears would get tangled in the straps of my sandals. rolleyes

Nice try though! wink

Edit: Apologies, it is in fact an ITV sock.
I just checked.
I feel it's important to keep our pool of Trivia as accurate as we can whenever & wherever possible.

Plans for today went down the spout as soon as I walked into the garden at 6.45 this morning and saw my poorly blighted spuds! I’ve had to carefully remove probably over ninety (90)% of the foliage in a bit to save the potatoes. Three (3) hours it took me.
They need at least another twenty (20) odd days more in the ground.
I dugged one (1) plant up and the spuds are reasonable size and with no malaise yet.
Proof in the tasting as I’m having them for lunch along with my salad de gésiers in a few minutes.

404 that’s top bat caring work you’re doing old chap! No mistake!

Warm here now, probably around 30 degrees.
