That's because their legs have worn down over the miles that they run, Magoo.

I bet even spikeyhead is shorter than he used to be. biggrin

Remember they’re the half marathoners, Magoo. The full ones are, as one would expect, bigger. yes

Wave to Helen and Vicky for me please, Byker. Thanks!

We went out to the Royal Hotel because they now do a Sunday roast carvery, which is good value. 9 quid if you're a pensioner.
Nearly as good as 'Spoons.
I nearly said "9 quid for pensioners" but twigged in time that some residents may have become confused and assumed that the Royal Hotel are dishing up roast pensioners with Yorkshire pud, spuds and gravy.
Although now I think about it I'm not completely certain either way.
I've just put the Memsahib's laundry on because she has informed me that she requires black trousers ready for her choir "gig" that I'm driving her to tomorrow.
Another thing she has just informed me about.
I should probably cut the grass but TBH I CBA and anyway I don't GAS.

ETA: Bobbers posted his news while I was typing, so my post vaguely resembles a response to Bobbers!
Serendipity?

I've washed and polished the Atom, waggled a few weights in the gym and now feel very worn out.

Well that's that, we're home!!!
541.4 miles, 1 1/4 tanks of fuel, amazing fun, and now back home getting ready for a soak in the bath!!!

Ivor has been faultless all weekend, I've learned a lot about how to get more out of him and to trust him more!!!

Many bugs died during the weekend!!

The chaos at Manchester airport has left me a bit stranded in Mallorca.

Only a bit stranded as there are still promising signs that we might take off tonight, even if by the time we land it is tomorrow.

Currently enjoying the cabaret / variety show that is people watching in a busy airport on a summer evening.

Back home and finally sat down after a very long and trying day involving lots of diversionary tic tacs getting home from Naaarfaak

Cue one ver warm, ver achy and ver unimpressed Slopes.

Bobbers - i wasnt aware of the car park but makes sense

Your Lordship - they burnt everything after they made me* so there is indeed one one slope

* they didn't want to repeat their collossal foul up

Time for bed..

I'll run tomorrow morning before work, hopefully it's not going to be too hot if I'm up early enough.

I must have been slowing down energetically. The back one is not nearly as bad.
