Morning all. Today is Sunday and I’m off volunteering at the museum shortly. I am receiving 25 Aston Martins that will need arranging at the base of the Vulcan for a photoshoot.

Morning all.

Good set of photos, there, Bobbers. I’m glad it went well.

My son is safely installed in his new establishment and I’ll pop down to retrieve various suitcases and boxes later.

Other than that, I’ll need to retrieve the winter duvet from the dry cleaners. Is that crushingly trivial enough for these purposes?

Good morning.
Thanks for sharing the photos Bobbers as I’ve been thinking about you lot this weekend.

I spoke to my son yesterday! First time in 11 years so I’m made up.

Warm weather forecast at last! Nearly into July and it seems like autumn here. Should have around 30 degrees by midweek.
I may cut some hedges and grass this week for a change.
Really good to hear you've spoken to your son Magoo.

Doc: I'm sure he do.

Time to read Cannery Row and Sweet Thursday again.

Cannery row is an excellent book. Most of Steinbeck's work is great

I've nothing planned for the day

Lie back with your dinner bowl on your head.

It's recommended in some quarters.

See above.

Touring cars, F1 GrandPrix

We've got the marathon setting up right outside. Sound system gone up, flags are out, big inflatable arch going up...

Gude Moaneve Happy Campers! wavey
When I woke up at 05:37hrs, there was a fick throg* outside, so after my obligatory shuffle ti the loo, I went back back to bed, and when I resurfaced, it was a bootiffle sunny day outside, and there were 32 ( phurty-too ) centipedes in the conservatory.
* I'm glad I never mist it. smile

Have a splendiferous day everyone; it's one of those "great to be alive days", and here I am to prove it.
Have fun marshalling those Maston Nartins, Hammo, sometimes it's like trying to herd cats. They just won't listen to instructions.

Great pics from yesterday, Byker, Elsie is so cute. And that Dragon is a fair old bit of chainsaw carving and no mistake.

Ta-ra fer now, back later. wavey

Morning All.
I think I've been sitting here long enough now. I'm going to shuffle out to The Shed (the House of Blunders) and continue reassembling the Alleged Motorcycle.
Yesterday afternoon was fun, fitting the reground valves to the newly cleaned up zylinderkopf. My spring compressors don't fit so there was some improvisation with clamps, offcuts of wood and keybar and bent-nose pliers. There's always a way.
Now it's time to put back the refurbished and tested ignition bits and bobs before I get too old and forget where they go.
Well done to the intrepid tourists on the Brassington Great Circle. If it weren't for such pioneers no progress would be possible. We are indebted to you

Improvisation is the necessity of Motherhood.
Something like that.

I've swept the garage floor.

I've also had a nosey round an excellent old whale tail 911 that my neighbour has parked on his drive.

Don't talk to me about dentists! nono

It's impossible to see a NHS dentist nowadays, but luckily we have a Polish plumber and gas fitter who does a bit of dentistry in his spare time.
He can fix your pearlies for not a lotta zloty. biggrin

He did those pictured for my wife, who kindly let me borrow them for yesterday's Grand Day Owt, bless her! love
