Oh, it's all kicking off locally.
This got posted - originally showing a few kids running away, a couple looking at the camera.

Of course, the parents have then kicked off, that their darling kids have promised them they weren't doing anything wrong.
Then variants of this has been posted

'Just wants to talk', and in the comments is clear his darling boy hasn't been brought up like that, he's promised he's done nothing wrong, shouldn't take pics of kids, etc.

Utter nonce-sense regarding getting permission to take photos / video of children, the image they've shared is lacking context.

Unless you're making indecent content any images of anyone taken in a public places are perfectly legal and most police forces and solicitors will have a page up that says something along the lines of:

There is no law preventing people from taking photographs in public. This includes taking photos of other people’s children.
If you are taking photographs from private land, you need to have the land owner’s permission. Taking a photo of a person where they can expect privacy, such as inside their home or garden, is likely to cause a breach of privacy laws.
Unless the images which have been taken are indecent, no one has the right to:
ask a photographer to stop
ask for a copy of the photos
force a photographer to delete the photographs
I was on a call with the police on Monday night where they asked if I could take photos of some kids that were stripping lead from a roof because they knew they didn't have anyone to send out for at least 45 minutes. This got shared on our local group earlier (it did include a picture). No other information or context, I did want to ask for the basic info (when, where etc) but decided not to open that can of worms.
Plenty of people commenting and sharing though, it really is an illness, people feel the need to outdo each other with the virtue signalling without really knowing why.

The state of some people's homes never ceases to amaze me.
That's normal in most rentals. LL clause is to leave wtih all the walls and woodwork freshly painted white and so tenant buys the cheapest white paint they can find along with the cheapest 12" brush and/or roller and this is the end result. LLs don't care so long as another person will take it without grumbling. The state of some people's homes never ceases to amaze me.
