Not a local group, but has anyone joined the "UK idiot drivers exposed" Facebook group.

It seems to include a number of traffic cops posting recent arrests.

Quite interesting and there are some real idiots about.

Saw one of them the other day, wasn’t quite sure how legit they are. There was a photo of a fuel tanker and a claim the driver had been tailgating an unmarked car and had then been pulled over, fined and points. Couldn’t actually see any evidence of any of that other than a photo of a fuel tanker with all its details blurred out.

To be fair, a number of the photos also include a police car in the shot. So I guess genuine as anything can be in the internet

I suppose it could well be legit, but I can imagine it raises a few questions. Should the police be taking personal photos of people they are prosecuting/fining then sharing them anonymously on a public Facebook group.

Maybe that’s all perfectly legit, but feels a bit off. Even if tailgating fuel tanker drivers might deserve it!

Ah yes; that'll be the stunt plane that occasionally draws a huge smiley face in the sky.

They live amongst us.

Probably the Pitts Special that’s based at Rochester. Often see him flying over my house knife edge (whole plane tipped on its side), the plane sounds great. You can have a ride in it for about £300.

They are legit.
Most police traffic units most stuff like this now.
I've recognised a few of the cars when I've gone to collect them after a month or so.

Given that they seem to be allowed to film your arrest for national TV whether you like it or not, going by the endless docu-series being constantly pumped out, I assume they’re also allowed to take selfies for their “socials” in the same way?!

Slightly off topic but do you know if there's a website for that?

Not a "local" but it's Facebook and weird as heck AI oddness, presumably to try and make me feel patriotic via the medium of flags and tormented ghouls...

AI generated images are rife on my local page, the admin is also part of the local computer repair shop and obviously thinks he’s being really cool and progressive pumping out picture after picture from DallE.

AI art can already ps off.

And so it begins. Yes it's been warmer today, but jessu christ people are panicking about heat stroke in dogs, they should all be walked before 6 and after 7, owners should walk in barefeet so they know how hot the floor is, perhaps owners should walk in a fur coat.

Jesus Christ. It's going to be a long few months.
