We had a dog out on it's own yesterday and someone suggested taking said dog to the vets to get it's chip scanned, bugger me at least 4 ladies offered their scanners.

Why are people buying pet scanners? do they keep them in their purse on the off chance they will find a cat corpse on the highway?
Or they could just ring the number on the tag on the collar...

ComplaintS aplenty that the council haven’t sprayed the weeds along the gutters outside their houses on ‘posh’ estate.
It was pointed out that back in the day folk would sweep the pavements outside their homes and pull the odd weed out of the gutter, you know, community spirit, keep the place looking tidy and all that. .
Apparently they pay too much council tax to do it themselves.
In fairness they do. Paying circa 4K a year council tax does sting a bit.

On my local group they sems to potray themselves as white knights offering to scan any roaming or dead before several of their hun-bots reply "Shared TF3"
I live in TF3 and have a cat and 2 dogs. As far as I’m aware the dogs haven’t been bummed and the cat hasn’t been scanned but I haven’t checked for flour on the drive or cable ties on the hedge.
Our Amazon delivery lady is foreign and drives a large white van, time to move I reckon

There is one in Shetland as well. I used to live a couple of miles away.

£15 for an overly repackaged packet of biscuits, I'd be so disappointed if my daughter was daft enough to buy something like this.

Ask them what there food preparation rating is from the council, or vat number.
That will drive them mad.

Or at worst they're about £11 for a box of 48 packs at Costco.

Reply with a picture of Marble Arch, and say that you heard Sadiq Khan was planning to celebrate his reelection by replacing it with a mosque, so it’ll be going spare soon. Should get the idiots frothing nicely.

Had one on my village FB page over the weekend.

A picture of a kitten on a sofa, and the kitten was now lost. Could people check outside etc.

And then, hooray, and update! The kitten had been found, safe and well.

Behind the cushion, on the sofa....
