Doesn't look like April will be setting any high temperature records frown
Not quite a record but, 8 degrees above average ain’t bad. Even if it lasted for just an afternoon!

But in general. Yes. Brrr!
Guess it's the time of year where the sun makes a huge difference to how warm you feel, so here's hoping for no clouds this weekend.
It was showing a real feel temperature of minus 2 yesterday morning and minus 4 last night in Leeds. We are off to the Spanish pad Thursday and some sun cannot come soon enough.

Is that good or bad?
Mind you, if you live in East Anglia... I can see clouds rolling off the North Sea rofl
I see nothing whatsoever that's amusing in your post.

Drove home with my sunroof open. Glorious weather. Got changed, fired the lawn mower up. Thunder hail for 15 minutes. Everything soaked. Too wet to mow now, but the sun has come back out. irked

Hailstone earlier with a high of 6 and a strong North Easterly to make it feel better.

Just got home after work and it's 2 Deg out, expected to freeze overnight.

Weekends forecasting a high of 11! More rain to come.....

Frost on the windscreen this morning, putting a positive spin on it it's testament to the clear skies!

This weekend I will be packing suncream and my warmest sleeping bag!

Apparently spring still eludes us, lows of between freezing to 2/3 degrees for the next week! Average highs for this time of year should be 14/15 to up to 18..we have 11/12, ffs.

Sounds ideal. Cool air, broken sunshine. Perfect for being outside and active, and not getting hot and sunburnt.

Looking forward to it, I shall go on a pubcrawl on foot in the countryside.

Lockdown was glorious from a weather perspective, the first one in 2020 in particular

I got put on furlough from work in April 2020 and had a great time. All of the jobs around the house got done and we had a BBQ every night.

Ironically I was thinking exactly this yesterday. From March 2020 onwards it was like being on holiday nearly every day. I was however, one of those essential Key workers who didn't get furlough or didn't get a day off for it.

Did they seed the clouds to fk off?

Same for me - I’m pretty sure even in retirement in a few years I’ll be still paying for it whilst never getting to have enjoyed that paid holiday
