On the search for a new ceiling light. I was recommended this site, but am now somewhat concerned about what I've just clicked on.

If Dali had done that to me, I'd be in a real dilemma. I'd have a cock and balls on my forehead, but OTOH it would be a genuine Dali and probably worth a fortune. Leave it, or scrub it off? Tough call. smile

Not a sniggersome moment, but a moment that could have been sniggersome.

Watching trooping the colour, Kate and the three children in the carriage that was steaming up, when it rained and the kids frantically wiping the inside of the window, what if the eldest drew a cock and balls in the condensation?....

Quoted from the LM24 coverage discussing tyres:
Comm1: “I wonder if James Calado is happy with a ‘soft’ on?”
Comm2: “it’s a good job he’s not on ‘hard’ tyres”

Just seen on the BBC

"Hamburg police shoot man with axe ahead of Euros match"

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c72292lpz2yo

How do you shoot a man with an axe?

I was watching an American crime programme, where a couple discovered a decapitated body in the woods
The call went like this;

Caller: "We have found a body"
Police: "Are you sure that they are dead"
Caller: "Yes"
Police: "Are they breathing"...
( Perhaps if the caller had told the Police that small detail, it would have saved a bit of time... or perhaps they had to follow the computer script). rolleyes

That reminds me of the similar story.
Woman phones police:
'I've shot my husband and I think I've killed him'.
Police 'can you make sure he's dead?'
Gunshot is heard.
'Yes, he's definitely dead'.
