Just bought one of those LED usb diffusers for the car. Added some nice bubblegum oil too.

Gonna go get a bigger one for the house.

Just in case you aren't aware, a lot of the oils used in these can be very harmful to animals, so if you have cats or dogs probably best to check which can be used safely first.

I got one for my wife unaware of this until someone else pointed it out on here, so we just don't use it anymore in case it causes any issues for the dog/cats.
I’ve just got some which are specific to the diffusers rather than the oil burner type. The one just at home is 500ml capacity so 3 drops. Cats more interested in bringing me rats in at the moment.

Did you have a purpose for this or just fancied it?

A 410 doesn't make much noise to start with, as I recall!
Doing more clay and my 12 without defenders was starting to give me a headache.
Went to the gunsmiths for some defenders, got chatting and came away with the mossberg hushpower.

Its very quiet, nearly air rifle volume! Hasnt got the range but due to the silencer is full choked so have to be more accurate - really enjoy shooting it, and everyone that has had a go seems too as well.

quite impressive to be shooting clays with a .410
I have managed to hit some with mine, but it is tricky - though mine is an older hammer version...

You know I can never resist anything F1, and these are a bit of a rarity. Sennheiser Red Bull Momentum. Only issued to team staff and special guests and frivolous because I already own a dozen pairs of (admittedly cheap, crap) headphones which I invariably break when gardening, but these are a bit special. Might actually look after these ones biggrin To be fair at £50 they were a bargain.

Wow ... Opposite end of the spectrum! Shot a 12 a couple of times without ear defenders and wouldn't want to make a habit of it!

They 'look' well put together and would tick all the boxes. My Rhino 56 is pretty knackered these days and I've never really been a massive fan of it's build quality. Just a shame the price is a bit excessive, certainly for someone on furlough...Still, if it's as good as it looks. Let us know what you think?

Not guilty.
Local selling page. I'd been clicking on them on and off for a week before I finally thought 'yes, I need those'. They seem to go for a bit more on eBay. I did have a look and saw a comparable pair at £72. That said, there is a really ropey pair on there the guy has been trying to sell for £64 that have no case either.

I thought that my dads 30-40 year old fly rods were looking a bit well traveled!

So despite having Much newer Greys Rod and Shimano reel bought just a few years ago I’ve just bought this!

It’s so tiny, so light, it’s just fabulous!

Very frivolous indeed!

Never had an interesting in fishing as a sport, but love being outdoors and I want one of these, because it’s shiny and looks well made/thought out. Was this a used purchase or can they be bought new? Couldn’t find what I think it is online.

I'm the same.

Been fishing perhaps a dozen times in near 40 years. Never caught a thing.

Yet there's a certain appeal to fly fishing - especially off the local beach when the bass are close to shore...

Certain romanticism regarding it, and it's not like lobbing out a hook with some bait and waiting a weekend for a bite (as I put it to my carp fishing mates!).

Hit the nail on the head, chap.

My only notable memory of fishing was as young teenager with an ‘experienced angling friend’ who had bought a new spinner and wanted to see what it was like in the water.

First cast, he caught a f’ing ferocious specimen of a pike, which we were totally unequipped to deal with and we’re luck to get it back in the water with all parties unharmed. The inbetweeners could well have been inspired by the antics of that event.

A friend taught me to fly fish in return for a bit of archery coaching and setup help. Much more enjoyable than course fishing that I did as a kid and teenager, but that was all that was available to me then.

Now I’ve got a toolbox full of fly tying stuff! Great in winter when you just want some quiet time and a nice scotch.

That friend fly fishes for pike, and yes it works but bugger me is it hard work! His rod can handle salt water too, so in theory he could try for bass etc.

Today on Facebook I saw someone had used an example of my frivolously purchased 3d printer to print a life-size, 7' tall Master Chief...

I'm currently looking for the files. Seemingly it'll take a week to print then no doubt another to stick together and paint.

I found plans for a ZF1, pity it’s wasn’t correct! I spent a few hours starting that print.
