AKA 'Parnoily' in 1963 because he leaked oil on the final laps of his victory, Jim Clark was gaining on him before hand and may have taken the lead..............

William Russell, who played original Doctor Who companion Ian Chesterton, died yesterday aged 99.

He returned as Ian for a cameo in the 2022 story "The Power of the Doctor", 57 years after the character left, which earned him a Guinness World Record for the longest gap between TV appearances playing the same character.

Yes, she was in great demand back in the days of steam TV.

96, same age as when Queenie passed, nice one Jeanette. RIP.

Colin Chapman diplomatically declined to protest Jones's win. Eddie Sachs, who spun off on Jones's oil, was less diplomatic, and lamped him.

it's sad that someone died and i wouldn't wish harm on anyone, but he did spread nutrition and diet misinformation under the guise of science. I suspect he has been responsible for many many thousands of eating disorders up and down the country. How he was allowed on TV as a regular item i have no idea. Probably a case of popular stuff is more useful to broadcasters than truthful stuff.

What a load of garbage! He promoted a low sugar and 5-2 diet which has saved thousands from type 2 diabetes. Those promoting breakfast cereals, high sugar drinks are the real villains. Just like the Americans were told to eat in the 70’s - look at the majority now, vastly overweight.
