Have we had The Bent Spoon yet? Been on the market for quite a while.
Is that Mr Clooney's place?
No, another resident of Sonning who was famous for bending spoons.

That's quite an advance in Kent coastal erosion I didn't know about .

It's just most of the decor, the car outside and the collection of grotty chav shoes that are council.
... and the football pitch and the bar. Nothing that can't be ripped out or changed though. But why would you spend that much on a house and then spend a fortune changing it.

It's one of those places that if I could afford to live there... I would live somewhere else.
My daughter used to watch a girl on YouTube called Tiana Wilson. I think that’s her old house…..
Just came here to post the same as I recognised the outside and asked my daughter the same thing. lol.

That’s quite an odd house, some rooms look like my nans and then others are ultra modern. A real mis-mash of styles. Sonning is a lovely area but for that money I’d be looking elsewhere.

On a seperate note, how can someone who just bends spoons and talked about positive energy have been worth that much money? He must have been the godfather of the ‘social influencer’ (ie, made a career and a lot of money from not really doing anything or having any identifiable talent).

Agree, once they remove all their council artefacts it would be fine.

Clear lt cost a few quid but god it is horrible. I love the shelves devoted to rubber footwear, that is just total council. I would like to see a wine cellar where instead of wine it is baseball caps on the shelves as the owner only drinks lager with limes in it.

I didn't really know where to put this but it seems a bit council amongst other things so hopefully this is OK.

Apparently there's a march at the end of the month for people keen to get their country back from wherever it's gone to, I got a Facebook ad today for a company selling t-shirts for it, no idea why it picked me but maybe I've been identified as a true patriot or something.

https://memeprints.co.uk/product/27th-july-2024/

Anyway, form a line, order yourself a nice t-shirt with a picture of an AI generated chap wearing a t-shirt on and a message on the back so people know you're the real deal with a t-shirt that's definitely made from English cotton and made right here... presumably.

I'm guessing Damon Hill won't be part of the Sky team at the Belgian GP that weekend then...

I know the web t-shirt shop is just using stock images with the t-shirt logo superimposed but it's quite amusing how diverse the "models" are, bearing in mind the message being promoted on the t-shirt lol.

Plus having one room for kitchen, dining, sitting is a no no. Tried these layouts on holiday, the sofa ends up with layer of grease and the whole room smells of whatever you are cooking.
