Weather for the rest of the week will be more like Autumn.
Or something to that effect.

34 degrees in Thailand today. Occasional showers (one every 3 days or so) - not a bad start to the rainy season for us.

Just on a transfer from Ao Nang to get the ferry to our next resort. We have a villa with a private beach and pool. Off season and mates rates means we're paying less than for a hotel room in London for 2.

I've heard only good things about Thailand, particularly the people. In fact, someone I went recently and were in awe of how welcoming people were and how much they seemed to try to give good service.

My latest mental tactic to keep myself vaguely optimistic: Mrs UTH being a teacher finishes work this week, so I'm now telling myself that teachers and school kids don't feel like their summer starts until this weekend, so surely there's plenty of time for summer to kick in at last?

Dreadful weather again today in Mac - low cloud, drizzle, cold.

Seems like summer is scheduled in for 6am to 9am on Thursday, set your alarm.
Might still need a jumper

Down South and it's not cold outside, but it is completely miserable. It's so dark and overcast, gloomy and just horrbile looking. So although it isn't cold, it just looks/feels cold if that makes any sense at all.

Yep. I’m working from home for once, and I sit looking out a very large window, with my screens barely impacting the light that comes in.

Despite the fact it’s midday, I have the lights on for the camera lighting frown

I hate it. Many have (correctly) pointed out, the weather can be pretty variable around Wimbledon, so maybe it’s not so unusual in a historical sense, but the fact it’s coming after so much grey dreary misery this year makes it feel so much worse.
