Just wear them man.

I've plenty trainers that my girlfriend doesn't like - damned if I'd stop wearing them because of that!

Goes both ways too, she wouldn't not wear stuff coz I don't like it.
You're spot on I reckon, and I will get wearing them! thumbup

Mine absolutely hates my Nike Air Rifts which I live in, in the summer.

Got about 7 pairs and I couldn't give a monkeys what she thinks. They're a perfect summer shoe.

Bought the ones that dropped today as well. I'm looking forward to showing them to her. hehe

The first ones, whilst not being my usual style, are a fantastic trainer, really nicely detailed. They look miles better than the dunks.

Treated myself to these in the Grenson sale, beautifully made and fit nicely too thumbup

How do you get on with soles on these? It looks like they have no tread at all?

What exactly makes them about £200 than the regular ones?

Has a mooch around Selfridges today (Oxford St) - they have the much discussed Loewe x On cloudtilt - nice quality and look comfy but clearly the Loewe brand adding hugely to the price. I think 250 would be a fairer price as the "cooking" models are around 150.

Tail end of sale going on - tried the CP tennis shoes (Tennis 70) - look lovely but not comfy at all - minimal cushioning even compared to Achilles.

Seeing Gazelle and Samba everywhere in London (normally girls not football casuals!). Nice classic looking shoe but not cushioned, compared to boost or Yeezy. Sold mine. Spezial a bit better due to the tongue.

Good to know the tennis ones are not comfy, I was very close to ordering a pair. The cloudtilt I currently have are so so soft, makes a nice change.

I agree the LOEWE branding made them overpriced, I was more sold on the colour way. I’d never considered the ON brand previously and now pondering over these.

My first pair of Vans since I was a teenager

Compared to my usual Nikes it's like wearing anvils on my legs, they are so heavy

I do love the styling though

I've been coveting these "Knu School" ones for a while, I'm just waiting in the hope they bring out a black pair with the black soles but the white vans logo on the side rather than all black.
I succumbed.
