Yeah they’re Swiss. See a lot of older people on the Netherlands in them as well. The well dressed and active type of older person that is, I’m not knocking them in style they’re better than old people in slip in sketchers etc.

Anyhoo. Karhu, how are they size wise compared to adidas originals? I went on the sns app to join that raffle (thanks to Ryyy) and seen a pair that warrants a gamble.
Did you get sorted?

As you get older you want shoes with a bigger toe box that don’t look too clown like.

Had on cloud trainers a few years ago for work. I’m on my feet all day and they were the comfiest shoes I’d ever had… for about 6 months they then fell apart. Not good for a £150 air of shoes.

I now rotate between new balance 574 and asics 360. The new balance were £50 and still going strong 3 years later. The asics are 6 months old and still look and feel like new and so they should for £170.

These are down to £160 from £540.

Maison Margiela x Reebok Classic.

Deconstructed then put back together.

Bought a few pairs. I love them.

Can't remember who put me on to these in this thread but they're so so comfy!

Also din't pay 540.
£540 was an absolute piss take, they should have been around this price at launch. But MM always do bumb the price substantially.

I signed up for the draw, it’s in 2 days. Best I can do I reckon. Thanks for the link!

Not sure what size you're after and if you are sorted now.

Sevenstore have up to size 10.

These are lovely. The pastel colours and the music are spot on.

Bought to wear with this

Wandered into size in marseille as I wanted to see a pair in person. They had the widest selection of adidas originals I’ve seen in ages

These were what I went to see, wanted to know if they were velour. Which they were so I bought them. Imho some of the recent originals, especially gazelle indoor, have been on par with the Gucci release in terms of materials, colour and quality.

Also bought these on sale. 160euros with tax back for the pair. That’s how I’m justifying it anyway, that’s 4 pairs this week.

The blue ones are amazing and £90 on size. A steal for the quality imo. I’d quite happily wear these anywhere.

The Amsterdam reminded me of my burgundy velour onitsuka tigers and they were too cheap to say no to.

I have realised recently that I’ve got a lot of pairs in boxes that I haven’t worn or even seen in ages. Sometimes I see a really great colourway like these

And then remember I have these which I’ve worn maybe twice

It’s a curse I tell thee. But I also tell thee buy those blue gazelle indoor, those are special.
