The body produces 100w of power an hour just on tick over, metabolic processes. The body can produce 1000w a hour under strenuous exercise, think Matrix.
I rememeber Tour De France legend cyclist Mig Indurain could produce 550watts sustained for an hour onto a static bike. This was the highest recorded.

I wonder where the other 450w comes from in your equation? Do you reckon it is body heat and motabilisation etc?

Why did he ask him rather than a.n.other session player? A gag?

You mean “100w” and “1000w” rather than “100w of power an hour” (etc).

A watt is a unit of power (one watt is a joule per second).

Every prime above 6 is a multiple of 6, plus or minus 1
look.
That sounded more impressive on first reading it until I realised it was obvious. A multiple of six plus or minus 2 or 4 is even so can’t be prime. A multiple or six is also divisible by three so adding or subtracting 3 will also be divisible by 3 so not prime. Which only leaves plus or minus 1 or 5. But minus five is the same as the previous number divisible by six plus one. So effectively you can shorten it to just plus or minus one.

50 years ago the population of the world was 4bn vs now 8bn. Nowt to see there though.

TX.
Which is why Thanos was wrong. Halving the population does nothing for sustainability, it just delays the problems by a few years.

Sorry, I’m going off topic.

Yes. For example the difference between a million seconds (a few days) and a billion seconds (decades).

Assuming the 1000w is accurate, what you will output will not be what you ae just producing through your legs.

People produce heat just resting.

As a long time student of Zappa’s life and work, I have never seen a definitive answer to this. I suspect it was more than anything a riposte to the way that Zappa’s current bass player, Jeff Simmons, walked out just as filming for 200 Motels was about to start, claiming he was ‘too heavy’ for all this comedy music. Zappa disliked anybody working for him taking themselves too seriously.

Bramble’s name must have come up as a result of his appearance as Paul McCartney’s grandfather in A Hard Day’s Night, and this could have appealed to Zappa’ as a nice way of putting Simmons in his place. As it happened, Bramble completely flipped out when he got to the studio and saw what was going on, and ran away.

In a dressing room meeting, Zappa vowed to give the job to the next person who walked through the door, also a way of demonstrating to Simmons that he was by no means indispensable. The door opened, and in walked Martin Lickert, who was Ringo Starr’s chauffeur. (Ringo was also in the film, playing the part of Frank Zappa - don’t ask.) Almost miraculously, it turned out Lickert could play bass guitar, and he did a capable job in the film, though never joined The Mothers Of Invention on stage.

Humans account for about 36 percent of the biomass of all mammals. Domesticated livestock, mostly cows and pigs, account for 60 percent, and wild mammals for only 4 percent.

It was shelved due to bean counters.... even though it produced 30% more downforce.

Frank Stephenson was inspired by a triplane I believe.

I can't believe it was just bean counters that blocked it. If it was that effective it would have been used in competitions, probably came a cropper during homologation or MOT type approval..

Yarp, the Red Barons... He appeared on a episode of Wheeler Dealers.
Frank is a friend of Ant’s, who then made one of his own.
5000 dollars & added 25lbs of downforce... not bad for a bloke in a a garage.
