Mmmmmmm, it's ok, but there's nothing quite like splitting logs with an axe to relieve some stress!!!!

I have a brazier we light from time to time in the garden, we were given half a dozen 4-5 foot logs for it, these need cutting up which of course necessitated the purchase of a reciprocating saw............
I've got one of those, but in B&Q flavour. I know this sounds obvious, but mind your flippin fingers next to the angry clamp bit. Quite amazing how quick you forget about it when gripping onto it and a finger goes a wonder!

Thanks for the warning but I used to have a couple of chainsaws a while back, those things make you VERY aware of where your fingers are!!!!

Just in case you aren't aware, a lot of the oils used in these can be very harmful to animals, so if you have cats or dogs probably best to check which can be used safely first.

I got one for my wife unaware of this until someone else pointed it out on here, so we just don't use it anymore in case it causes any issues for the dog/cats.

I decided it was time to upgrade to 4k https://www.amazon.co.uk/LG-43UM7100PLB-Inch-Smart... huge leap from 720. Setting up was mostly easy until I booted up Forza and there was very bad input lag. Lack of instructions made it a challenge but a quick Google search sorted it out. Hitman, Doom, Forza, Tomb Raider all look amazing, I'll have to reinstall Dirt and see what it's like in the RX cars. GPU doesn't like (even with steep fan curve it's getting pretty hot) it so that's next on the upgrade list once the next gen of ray tracing cards come out later this year.

A set of wider alloy wheels, for my already frivolous TRX-4 portal axled 4x4 RC car. A pair of heavy duty front drive shafts too.

I thought that my dads 30-40 year old fly rods were looking a bit well traveled!

So despite having Much newer Greys Rod and Shimano reel bought just a few years ago I’ve just bought this!

It’s so tiny, so light, it’s just fabulous!

Very frivolous indeed!

Did you have a purpose for this or just fancied it?

A 410 doesn't make much noise to start with, as I recall!
