Nothing quite like the pithy judgement of those who aren't involved. It's £5 per week if they enter both draws (not everyone does). Less than the cost of a pint in a lot of the country. If someone is down to their last fiver they shouldn't be playing the lottery. Quite frankly, the majority of people on here aren't, fortunately for all concerned.

If you want to see real gambling problems I suggest you walk into your local bookies and watch the FOBT. A week's wages gone in 10 minutes.

Or, you know, you could just mind your own business and stay out of a thread where you and your self-righteous tones don't belong.

I've been in the syndicate for months - it was a joke about how it keeps rolling over.

I thought it might have been in jest so I searched for your name on the recent spreadsheet and couldn't find it, so therefore thought it was an outside dig (there are 250+ people who take part at various times and I can't remember everyone)

Bit concerning though you couldn't find me on your spreadsheet. I follow your requested naming convention etc and have sent money for every draw over the last few months or so.

It's more than likely because I've done it in Google sheets the last few times as I haven't put excel onto this new laptop I've got yet and probably just hasn't picked it up. I basically filter for every transaction I receive at the right amounts within the specified period. Plus, as per the agreement, if anyone ever transfers in time and it's an admin error by me not to have them on my list then they are still part of the group should we win anything smile
