My finished Marcos TS500 will be on the Marcos stand from Saturday 29th on the stand in fully finished form - the first production TS500 to come off the production line.

Selected serious buyers of a TS500 that have previously expressed an interest to the factory or dealers can be allowed a closer look upon request - but you will need a stand pass in order to gain access to the stand and then speak directly to the stand staff.

Mr Wallace gave me a good long tour of your new TS500 Joust.

Looks a fantastic car. Absolutly brilliant.

Just wait till you see what the rear lights are gonna look like. Seriously mean mutha focker!

Let me know when I can have a go

And we are next both at a driving event bring the Marcos instead of the Noble, at least it might give me a bit more of a chance. (I might even be able to close up that 0.05 second gap!).

Well - I was truely bowled over.

The fit and finish of the interior was just amazing (done by the same chap that did the M14 interior).

The quality of the engineering absolutly fantastic.

And, overall, just astonished at the bargin that the car is!

Just one picture...

You are one lucky boy joust.

Think the new wheels suit it far better than the ones on the prototype I reviewed the other week.

And note the return of the classic Marcos badge...

Thanks Graham.

The wheels are the only ones of their type in the UK, and I think are much nicer than the originals

Tony S did a deal with the Dutch to license the Marcos logo, the badge on my car is very very shiny

And I note the blue interior is a bit more blue than it looked before

er and you better place an order for a replacement front number plate - that one will be gone before you can say sleeping policeman

tip: if you get one half height & normal width it will work a treat

The interior is actually a lovely subtle blue. For some reason it really sticks out when you use a flashgun.

In the flesh the blue on the interior really really works, and everyone has complemented me on how the two go together.

More piccies coming soon (I've over 600 from the weekend to go through!)

Justin,

I'm going to be there tomorrow so shall see it 'in the flesh'. It looks stunning in the pics, colour should be called brilliant royal blue or something! Do you know what the paint is called? So on the stand now is the TSO which I like because of the LS1 power plant, the Le Mans racer (chevy ls1 stroker probably a c5r block)and your gleaming car. No wonder they are keeping people at a safe distance! They don't want it scratched. When do you get your hands on it and the keys?

Mike.

Colour is one complex thing

category : Passenger car
car maker : LOTUS
code : B20
color : AZURE BLUE-MET.
from-to : 1995-1995
panel : 75355
paint system : Perlmutt-Basislack
formula date : 25.07.03
VOC g/l : 708.97
VOC USLb/Gal : 321.87238
amount : 1.0 litres
Tint code Tint name Mass (g) Cumul. (g)
MB885 LAPISBLAU 631.5 631.5
PE839 SAPHIRBLAU 261.5 893.0
MB562 BRILLANTBLAU 27.7 920.7
PE825 AQUAMARIN 9.3 930.0
MB571 TIEFSCHWARZ 9.2 939.2
MB576 BRILLANTROT 4.7 943.9
MB856 SCHARLACH 4.4 948.3

It's the "original" Lotus Elise Azure blue.

The car just needs a few things finished and then it's off to be SVA tested so should have the keys in 1 to 2 weeks after the show

The car looks stunning joust.
When those wheels were first fitted I had my doubts, but now it's all finished they suit it perfectly.

And personally I love the blue interior.
Two always works well with the right colour choice.

Joust, if you dont already know, ask Alan how they make the centre dashboard. Its and interesting little story .
The black wood is perfect. Almost piano like.
Id like to get my Griff done the same.
