Hi, I'm seeking help and advise for a friend in Norway, he has just aquired a classic Marcos, he needs to get his leather seats fully refurbished / re-trimmed can anybody advise the best places to go (a bonus if any know in Norway), it is likely he will have to either remove seats or bring the car to the UK I expect, appreciate assisitance in advance, Paul (TVR Griffith 500 SE owner).

Stupid reply maybe but can't he just go to any upholsterer who works with leather? Or speak to a local classic car club and see who they recommend?

No not a stupid reply, he has done this but not happy with local leather re-trim upholstery type companies there in Norway, hence my request, obviously he want to use the best with this being a classic and relies upon the UK market place, Paul.

If he has a Marcos he needs to be aware of Maros Heritage Spares http://www.rory.uk.com/ and how to contact Rory McMath who is a fount of all knowledge on Marcos. He should also log onto the Marcos Sportscar enthusiasts website (Just Google it) as it is used as a forum by Marcos owners througout the world. I am sure that there must be suitable retrimming facilities on mainland europe without coming back to the UK as a number of Marcos have been restored on mainland europe.

There are two owners clubs:
http://www.clubmarcos.net/Default.aspx
http://www.marcos-oc.com/

I believe both have one or two members in Norway who may be able to help.

Please pass on a welcome your friend into the Marcos family.
