Marcos at Mole Valley

TS500 in the showroom

Mole Valley Motor Group have the new Marcos TS500 in for assessment this week (8th-12th March).

The dealership based in Chessington already have other sports car franchises so it comes as no surprise that they're considering the new Marcos. The five litre Rover V8 powered car delivers over 300bhp and retails at £35K for the basic car.

Forget the Marcos, for ultimate in performance and racecar handling check out their Ssangyong Rextons.

For those who are interested, I hope to be testing the TS500 for PH later this month. Been trying to do it for months now but it's always been put back as Marcos weren't fully happy with it. Still sold one to joust though...

Very interested in many details, but particularly the engine specs, performance and driving impression. I believe they have spent a lot of time and money to produce the "next generation" 5.0 litre Rover V8.

Now just to get it into my Griff

What's the situation with the rover V8? I thought rover was stopping supplying it or something. Hence why they are not using it themselves and why morgan are stopping using it.

Have marcos just bought the design or something?

Isn't Joust looking to get one of these?

I seem to remember something along those lines anyway!

As with TVR - I love the looks of the Marcos'. (Marci?) Bold and brash lines with big engines upfront - lovely!

Definitely looks like a Marcos and not like a TVR at all IMO. Very nice looking car. Looks quite big in the pictures.

Yep - production car number 001 is currently being built to my exact specification. Delivery in April.

The car is lovely - if you can possibly get down to Mole Valley I strongly recommend it.

Excellent Joust - further details?

Colour? Further tuning already?!! Is this replacing the Noble? Surely not.

When are you expecting delivery?

etc etc....

Phil

Edited to say: Ignore me - am reading your updates below in the Marcos pages.
