Hi there, just sold tvr and bought Marcos, just wondered if anyone knows of it ?. Reg is AVD5J, owned 21 years by enthusiast called gary from Holt in wiltshire, He helped on the factory v8 development hence the car having a factory chassis. I know car was a marcos concours winner back in 90's.and Benson and hedges concours events as well.

A wise choice. You have joined a select band of enlightened and free-thinking individuals, who have realised that TVRs are a bit....... well...... common.

It's also widely recognised that Marcos owners are more attractive and much, much more generously endowed in the trouserage department than TVR drivers.

I think I can get away with saying that, because no-one ever looks in here anyway.

To answer your question, you'll need to speak to someone who knows something about this sort of stuff. Which would be someone other than me, as I know slightly less than bugger all about anything.

So I've sent you a mail, pointing you in the direction of some wise people who will be able to help.

Will you be changing your name soon?

Are you sure about that Imelda?

Mutley, welcome to the fold.
As for your car, I can't really help you.
Getting in touch with some of the Marcos dealers might be a good starting point for info gathering.

You only have to look at Quiffy, Cazzer, myself or yourself to see that this is true.

I know it's 15 years since you posted this request and it's a long shot. I think it was my dad's car. I have a couple of pictures. I don't have any memories of it as he could have had it for a year or two in early 70s
