Just returned from second track day since the susspension upgrade.Car performed very well indeed-still room for improvement but fine tunning rather than major mods i think. One problem is the car accelerates so fast its unnerving as you aproach corners the cars carrying more speed than im used to.8500 miles on the clock now so feels well bedded in. Need to drop car off with David Geralds for some work to be done before Snetterton next month, then in for a major mod on the bonnet when Johns finalised design.
Rather more positive about the car now as i can see the potential the car has & have a plan to get the car to where i want it.I hope by next spring the car will be very close to perfect.

Gald you're getting on with it James. Old Indian trick that may help with corners - don't accelerate so hard going into them laughlaugh

One very large heavy bonnet held by one very small central catch allows side to slap & bag about so hope to drill two holes either side & latch down a little like the sagaris

Now i can either do that or cut the wheel arches out, space the front wheels out then nick a couple of wheels off you (im sure youve got severa knocking about from one of your many current/ex tvrs) & bolt those to the front to reduce understeer!!!

so you are going to ditch the two ally spikes and fit some dutz style fasteners instead. i remember looking at one at a show..arnt you going to have to do some glass work to cover over the holes where the pins used to sit? you must be brave on a painted car. lol

no sorry i was just curious. never met this john guy so not really going to call him to ask lol. i was just asking as like i said, i had a good look at one at the mph show last year and had a good chat with one of the guys on the stand about the car. he told me the cars are expensive to paint hence my comment about being brave to modify stuff like that on a painted car.

hope i didnt cause offence?

May have come up with a better idea - fit 2 clasps inside door cavity so as not to spoil paint
