BTW, the LS1 used to suffer from oil consumption if it was run-in too carefully. I guess it is too early to say about the LS2.

Peeps suggest (once fully up to temps), periods of acceleration and high revs actually do some good! This site is quite good: www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm

That was in the early days. Think it was a ring tension issue and a breather problem. It's been sorted now.

V8 OOmph, looks well nice

Boosted.

Tamora nearly three years old, I feel a trip coming on to a dealer nearby.

Looks fantastic nice to see one in a different colour apart from red or blue.

I just wish it didn't feel so claustrophobic to me - be a tremendous Griff replacement.

Keep reporting back as you pile on the miles eh?

Thanks for all your positive comments, yep i do look smug waited 5 months for that moment,& the pics were taken at a friends house so the gargoils belong to someone else (dont tell dorothy) The car draws so much attention it takes a little getting used to & as for the motorway ive never seen so many cars JUMP out of the way,i was begging to come across mr/mrs 3rd lane hugger to save my licence on sunday.

Love those slash-cut exhausts with the tips profiled with the rear of the car. Very nice bit of detailing. You can tell the car is one of Damiens...! It's growing on me a lot. Nice colour too.

Have you got a slight leak there?

Looking at the photo, headroom does seem to be at a premium, although the pic of you in 'smug git' mode would indicate that you're quite long. I hope that's your real hair, as if it's a 'piece' I suspect you and it could be parting company quite soon. yikes
