Been to the factory to see new car well on its way to completion,but finding insurance a bigger problem than first thought. Any ideas would be very helpfull.

The problem presumably being that the car is not on any of their lists?

Have you spoke to Marcos about it?

Who have you tried? It will stop people from suggesting people you've already called!

Strange realy as sunninghill had advertised & promised to sort it months ago but so far cant quote,so tried my own company broker,so will get insured,just how much & no track cover. The other people advertise on here & promise to get back to me. However sunninghill used to insure the cerb & are now talking to marcos & promise to put a package together very quickley. (need to imagine marcos build the car in time for spain & cant insure it!!!)

Have a chat with Adrian Flux - I had a similar problem with the Tuscan and they went away and talked to the underwriters and got back to me the same day. Nothing to lose!

Fantastic-job done,sunninghill have covered the car,same terms as cerb,a little extra money but more important covered with the policy for track-days at no extra cost.Same deal should be offered to all new Marcos cars.

I keep getting the urge to call in to David Geralds after seeing there demonstrator (they are only 5 mins away) have to keep the cheque book locked down.

Aha, there was a bit of talk about you and this car on the Marcos forum (www.marcosforum.org). It'll be great to see you there, you can pretty much expect to see at least one of every type of Marcos there and meet a lot of knowledgeable people with regards to the marque.

Great will have a look now.Ive registered but lost info so hope to get that this morning.Just spoken to the dealer should have had new car on Wednesday,but looks like friday now.Ah well just 2 extra sleepless nights!!
