I live down a long country lane and used to get dropped off at the end of the lane by the school bus, and walk the mile home, it was winter and very dark when I heard this thunderous roar comming up behind me and the headlights lit up the road in front of me, as I turned around I saw the very low headlights, and as the bonnet drew up along side me, I thought it wasnt going to end, the car stopped and the electric window zipped down and as I peered in it was like a jet pilots instrument panel all lit up, my neighbour leaned across the wide transmittion tunnel and said (do you want a lift Russ)BOY DO I. I opened the door and fell into the seat that kinda wrapped around you,(What is it) ? (A Marcos 3ltr) came the reply we drove the short distance home, and I was in total awe. He dropped me off at the beginning of his drive which was about 500 yards long I thanked him and just watched as he drove up the drive home admiring the beautiful rear end shaped by the lights. I was hooked, I worked after school, weekends, that was going to be my 1st car, A Marcos, parents thought I was mad, but that was my dream car. MORE TO FOLLOW, got to go to work now to pay for the petrol for my new toy.
