Can anyone tell me what has happened to the soft top TSO?

All the pictures I keep seeing are of the coupe, is the soft top still in the pipeline?

Yes it is in the pipeline. TBH, I preferred my drive in the Convertible prototype to the Coupe. Even though the conv. was used as the production test assembly car, so had been taken to bits and re-assembled more times than a Lego set, and rattled a bit because of it.

Also, seeing as the Griffith/Chimaera owners are one of the most important customer target groups for Marcos, and the fact that Tony is a big Griffith fan, you can bet that the Convertible will be out sooner rather than later. It may be a year or two away though, as they've got the Coupe and Targa customers to provide cars for at the moment.

I have to say that the launch of the Targa as well as the Coupe at the same time surprised me a bit, I thought they'd release the Coupe, then the Targa, then the Convertible.

So, to answer your question, yes, but not just yet.

I think the general notion right now is that the Targa will satisfy enough of those who crave the wind in the hair experience.

My guess (and it's purely that) is that the 1st convertible will be based on the 2nd generation chassis, can't wait bounce
