Hi Alex, like Cazzer said, that forum is a great place to start your search and get Marcos advise in general. Alternatively, it looks like Jeremy may have one coming in at Redline... link here.... www.redlinesportscars.com/
He's in Wiltshire. If you don't manage to get one privately, give him a ring - he is a good guy to deal with and has a very good reputation - he sold my Mantis for me a couple of years ago. Good luck with the search. Cheers, Jon

Thanks for the info guys - Ive actually driven the flip tone blue green car before (Im in Edinburgh) but just wondered if there were any other colours out there that may be available - Dr Ivel - I take it you are hanging on to yours? That being the case, do you have any pearls of Mantaray buying wisdom to impart - wheres the best (or worst!) place to look on the chassis.
The powder coating on the chassis doesn't last too long but should be good for 5 years - I've been all round mine (with an annual check now) and have taken it off with a nylon disk on an angle grinder and replaced it with Zinc rust prevention primer and underseal spray. It tends to look much worse than it is as whenever I've found any rust it's been surface stuff only and once you get behind the flaking powder coat the metal is very strong.
Electrics are pretty straightforward - change your sensors regularly and have the loom chwekced by a land rover specialist (the ones with the computer analysis laptop)
In three years I've had to have the wirng loom checked for what turned out to be a short on the front of the engine loom - which had been shorting out the fule pump fuse.
I've now got new CATS and straight pipe relacements (recommended - the cats easily get buggered on speed bumps) - and I now know that one of my lamda's needs replacing for the next MOT (they are normally disconnected).
I changed the following myself
CV gaiters( cheep as they are Ford Siearra 4x4's) - mainly becasue they split becasue they had been put on too tight
The boot hatch had to be replaced - about £15
The poppers on the side of the hood needed replacing as they came off at speed - so I'm now using guitar strap locks!
And the stone chips are always a pain - planning to get a bonnet respray soon although you can hide a lot of sins by getting the front bib sprayed over with paint and laquer and well rubbed down occasionally - there is a line join there that very few people notice.
I've also had the power steering refurbished - again straightforward as it is a Ford Siearra 4x4 and the handbrake cable was replaced at £40.
I'm currently using green racing pads on the front brakes - which work better and don't appear to be wearing too quickly - and I'm currently using the largest tyres you can fit without body mods - 215 x 60 front and 235 x 65 rear - to avoid the speed humps.
That apart it's the best motor I have had / may ever have so I've no intention of letting her go - the bigger cars may go faster and look wilder - but I think the Mantaray is one of the best Marcos all rounders ever made.
