Its a lovely looking piece of machinery.

If the vehicle was as I put above and similar driver it might be my old baby

New owner lives around that way somewhere.

Isn't is about time you assumed your true identity of Blazer Maniac?

It was me !!!
I hav'nt been here for a while so did not get message, the Lakeside thing was an Essex Boyz meeting, the Marcos did feel a bit out of place so left early. Thanks for the compliments on the car but it is not the one shown in an earlier reply to this thread, if I knew how to post a pic I could show you all what mine is like.

Morning.

JSG rather helpfully posted the following some time ago.

A number of members have asked for a guide to Fotango, this may help - if it does I drink beer, if not complain to Ted

You will need to register with Fotango www.fotango.com to create an account if you do not already have one. This is free and fairly straightforward from the home page.

Once you have logged in you can create albums and upload photos from you hard disc – again just follow instructions.

Once you have the photos in your album you need to enable ‘public access’ to the photo as follows;

Select the photo(s) in your album using the check box and then select ‘Add to public gallery’ from the menu on the right.

You then need to select a category from the drop down menu – ie Hobbies/Classic English Sportscars. You can edit the title and caption fields if you want or leave default. NOTE this is not the link to post your picture. Then press send.

Pressing ‘Return to item you were viewing’ should take you back to your album.

Click on the photo you added to the public gallery and you should the get an option in the menu to the right which reads ‘Get a link to this picture’. Select this and you should get a URL appearing above the photo.

When you go back to a picture that you previously got a link for you can display it by selecting ‘view your link to this picture’ once you have clicked on the phot in your album. Hi-light or right click on the URL and select copy.

To post in the gassing station either in your profile or as part of a post paste the URL that you copied using the format supplied by Ted as below;

[pic] URL "> without the spaces.

If you get the small red cross instead of your photo it prob means the photo is not ‘public’ or the wrong URL is posted.

Another way to check is to make sure your picture has the Fotango banner underneath it – if not then it won’t be correct.

Cheers and Good Luck,
JSG

Once you've mastered that, you can tell us more about the Essex Boyz meeting.

Thanks Imelda, now what are you doing over here, you should be back at the real site forum.

Essex Boyz, well they are a group of mainly young people, which is obviously why they asked me to grace their pages with my car. How ever it transpires that they meet in large open car parks so that they can use all their power trying to do donuts and side ways drifts, when I seem to have to use all my ability to stop this happening. They are a friendly lot who do appreciate a very good car, but they lean more towards the Focus type cars which they customise or "Boyup" they have their own website which you may enjoy, www.essexboyz.com
