Yes it is a good review but the writer seems to think the lsx is based on earlier 50 year old engines.
"This 50-year-old engine is still available at a reasonable price and, having been steadily developed for so long, is surprisingly refined".
The engine in it's earliest specification is about 7 years old. He should have been told that it was designed from a fresh sheet of paper and only one component from an lsx fits the older engines.
The pricing was interesting to, I'm sure the C6 ls2 will cost more then that.
