Hi, I'm sure someone on here will have access to the following info. I need to know the original price for a late 60's 3 litre Marcos coupe. I cannot find any roadtest archive which has this info, can anyone help?
Thanks and best regards, Tony Abrams.

I’ll have a look tonight, there are a lot of old test reports in the Brooklands Books Gold Portfolio.

There wasn't as much information as I'd hoped for.
The only price for a 3.0l V6 coupe was from 1969.
The price was £1790 plus £560 purchase tax, giving £2350 for a fully built car.
Alternatively it was £1770 in component form, thus avoiding the purchase tax.

However, this is for a wooden chassised car, a late '70's car will be steel chassised.

I suggest you go to the Marcos forum as there are bound to be a few 'original owners' on there, so they may remember how much they paid for the cars:

Thanks for that Chris, I think that will do. The car in question was originally a wooden chassis car.
Best regards, Tony Abrams.
