There wasn't as much information as I'd hoped for.
The only price for a 3.0l V6 coupe was from 1969.
The price was £1790 plus £560 purchase tax, giving £2350 for a fully built car.
Alternatively it was £1770 in component form, thus avoiding the purchase tax.
However, this is for a wooden chassised car, a late '70's car will be steel chassised.
I suggest you go to the Marcos forum as there are bound to be a few 'original owners' on there, so they may remember how much they paid for the cars:
