Marcos at Race Retro Auction

Saw that there was a black 3 litre Marcos in the Silverstone Auctions sale when we went there on Friday, but it seems from their website that it didn't sell, did anyone know why or what it bid to ?

The ad doesn't seem to state if it has a wood or steel chassis.

I'm not sure if it's the same one that was on Redline's web site for much of last year. The price kept going up on that one every couple of months.

I was at the auction - bidding went up to around 15k but left unsold. I think Paul Matty have it back on sale. It does look nice but I think is from Gaydon's museum collection so I would worry that it hasn't moved much recently....

i would say 12k would (realistically) be a good start for that car....

It sold last week for £18K plus 10% buyers premium. A lovely looking car except for that sunroof. I guess it wouldn't be too hard to but a Webd in.
