Hi there

Anyone know what happened to the convertible TSO?
Was it just a one-off prototype/pre-production/demonstrator, or were there more than one made?

I was very interested in this car and I have made several enquiries in an effort to locate it. In that time there have been several responses. A recurring story is that it was badly damaged in a car park whilst being demonstrated and it was never rebuilt as a convertible, but some parts used for a coupe. I have also heard it may be locked away somewhere in a container. However these could be just idle tales and there been no evidence for either.

If it was the original green and grey tso then yes it was badly damaged iirc. It was then repaired and painted black. It may have sported a new rear light cluster to.
