I need to get from Moreton in the Marsh to Tenby in Wales by train and I have absolutely no idea how to do so and can't find a website which will tell me.

TIA

How trains work. By 4Q.

1. Hand over stupidly large wad of cash. Get credit card sized piece of card, in fetching orange black colour.
2. Stand on cold, breezy, concrete platform. Having parked your car in the most crime ridden part of towm (or got a taxi - see (1))
3. Keep standing there for at least an hour after your scheduled departure time.
4. Wait for iiiiiiiiit...
5. Wait for iiiiiiiiit...
6. Enter large metal tube and find a seat (next to tramp like person if possible, to make it an authentic experience).
7. Fail to find seat.
8. Stand for the whole journey.
9. Get off at a place similar to (2).
[Do you have to change trains? If so, repeat 2-9 as needed]
10. Apologise to family member/friend/colleague for arriving late. Re-reimburse them for the HUGE parking charge they've encountered, plus whatever they've had to spend further on parking due to your late arrival.
11. Be late for whatever you were travelling for.

Repeat for homeward journey.

Nope!

11:01 Moreton-In-Marsh

11:39 Worcester Foregate Street
Train FIRST GREAT WESTERN 00h 38

12:31 Worcester Foregate Street

13:18 Hereford
Train LONDON MIDLAND 00h 47

13:38 Hereford

15:55 Swansea
Train ARRIVA TRAINS WALES 02h 17

16:05 Swansea

17:39 Tenby
Train ARRIVA TRAINS WALES 01h 34

So, just the 6 hours 40 then yikes

Alternatively, by road we have: MIM > Tenby 3 hours 28 minutes.

Can't be done as I can only drive one car at once.

It's going to be a shocker.

It can be done in under 6 hours on the right trains (5 hours 23 minutes is the quickest):

06:16 FGW to Didcot
07:12 FGW to Swindon
07:38 FGW to Swansea
10:05 ATW to Tenby, arrives 11:39

Off peak though, the quickest time seems to be 5hrs 49m:

09:50 FGW to Reading
11:11 FGW to Swansea
14:05 ATW to Tenby arrives 15:39

Cheers,
Tom
