Airport baggage carousels!
Discussion
Apoligies if spelt incorrect.
But why the hell do idiots insist on standing so close that when you try to get your bag off, it's ten times harder than it needs to be. And long haul flights are catching on aswell now. I can't be the only one to notice this.
If your one of the peen arses who do this, then stand back next time, your bag won't run off you t

tI don't have the link, but there is a website that lists the direction of the belt for most airports.
I know the type of flights you mean though. I've normally just come down from a rageathon after the proles have clapped upon landing.
As for your problem, there are two solutions, a priority tag, or a well aimed baggage trolley to the shell suit clad ankle of the offender.

I feel your pain, annoys the hell out of me, it's as though there is a competition to stand the closest. Also, why do the idiots insist on having their trolleys up against the conveyor. Everyone knows the Mrs should stand with the trolley away from the conveyor. But why the hell do idiots insist on standing so close that when you try to get your bag off, it's ten times harder than it needs to be. To make it that much easier to "accidentally" knock them on the the belt as you reach over. Saw it happen in Berlin a couple of years back, first time I ever saw a German laughing in public...!Flintstone said:
Stand back.
Spot bag.
Barge in saying "Excuse me!" loudly.
Swing bag off collecting as many of the windowlickers as possible.
Depart.
Pretty much describes my technique - Strong shoulder barge going in, making sure to carry the case at a nice wide angle and use it as a plough on the way out. Spot bag.
