Recommend me a nice hotel near Rouen please

Travelling to Calais enroute from the Dordogne on 23rd August.

Can anyone recommend a good hotel along the way, somwhere near Rouen for instance?

What are you after? The Camponile at Oisset (jc22 A31) is perfectly adequate and very cheap!

Alternatively, the B&B mentioned here is very homely and does fantastic Normandy meals (and home made cider).

We stayed at the Best Hotel Rouen Ouest in Bourg Achard. Nice, clean hotel with a restaurant on site.
Great value for money - we booked via Activehotels.com In fact our review of the place is on the site.

Go for the Comfort room though - 64euros for a Double !

You can't!

They do speak a little English though if you're stuck (we know this as there were Americans staying at the same time as us!)

There are some stunning places there at pretty reasonable rates

The Viking in the middle of Rouen is well odd but very convenient.
