Holiday Suggestions

Evening All

I have just graduated with a 1st and my parents have suggested they may pay for a holiday as a treat - I would love to go away with the better half - where would you suggest - without taking the piss budget around £500 to 1K (flexible) for the both of us. UK or abroad
nb she is not a fan of the beach - and we dont like to sit around doing nothing all day
any ideas

Sicily - plenty to see/do and still relatively cheap.

Alternatively, to make the money go further - Turkey.

Plenty to see and do in both places.
