doing some serious travelling at the moment and need to invest in a good bag for carry-on luggage.

It needs to represent good value, but needs to cope with trips to Aus and be able to cope with two nights stay away in Europe.

Any suggestions? Looked at JL and Debenhams, but websites are rubbish!

that was the obvious one for me too, but nothing really takes my fancy. If I could find one which had four wheels, it would be great.

Should mention that I find some too short as I am 6'6"

I've got an antler hard case with wheels that's been really good, prefer hard cases as things get pushed around as everyone stuffs laptop bags etc in and it keeps your stuff safe. Delsy are another well respected maker. If you want to go for the "german atomic briefcase" look then Rimowa or for the too much money and little sense then Tumi
