Southampton / New Forest campsite?

Does anyone know of campsite around Southampton area that'll let you stay for just one night. Going down next weekend to go boating on the Sunday so only need to stay Saturday night. Also, it's me, my brother and brother-in-law so needs to be one that doesn't mind same sex groups. Most I've found on the net are 2 nights minimum. Anything will do, pubs with camping would be better or at least a pub nearby for Sat night!

There is a farm where they hold the New Forset show between Lyndhurst and Brockenhurst that is quite good. They let me and a friend stay for a week when we were 15. Give them a try.

Almost every other campsite in the New Forset is a forestry commission one and they all have the same rules. No under 16s etc.

I am pretty sure the place I was thinking of is New Park. But the campsite has been taken over by the Forestry Commision in the intervening years so it is probably now a 2 night minimum.

We stayed at Hollands Wood a couple of weeks ago - between Lyndhurst & Brockenhurst - really nice set up and plenty of space - got woken up at 2am by the ponies looking for leftovers........

i think most of the new forest campsites which are run by the FC are two night minimum if pre-booking.
So if you chanced it and just turned up for one night you may be ok.

Think we've found one ta, http://www.sunnydalefarm.co.uk/ doesn't seem to have a minimum stay and is near where we want to be.
