Other half fancied beaches Turks and Caicos for our honeymoon next year. Can't go to sandals as we have a young boy. Has anyone been and are they any good? Does look good in pic's etc and gets good reviews on tripadvisor.

Sandals and Beaches are over-rated in my view - done both. There are better all inclusive hotels in the Caribbean in my experience.

A couple of years ago we went to the 'Coyaba Beach Hotel' in Grenada. It was AI and good value for money. However, our (4) kids were older than toddlers. Would recommend it though.

The Caribean has many hotel with many prices. We have always taken our children on long haul from 6mths old, our oldest is now 14. Just choose a hotel you like that excepts children.

'Toddler friendly' is there such a place, your holiday isnt yours anymore I'm afraid, but it does get easier as they get older. Little darlings!

Done it 4 years ago.

Apart from the noisy Yanks, it was the best Holiday Ive ever done.

Free diving every day, I did 17 hours underwater in 2 weeks.
Bottle nose Dolphins often surf the prow wave of the dive boats on the way back. Never seen anything quite soo fantastic.
You'll see a few white tipped reef sharks out there on dives, absolutely mind blowing. we used to bait them.
Beautiful beach, white sand with canoes and sailboats.
100 metere down the beach is a roped off reef, you can snorkel over it, and see turtles etc.

Fantastic bar.
Plenty of food choice.
Easy flight.

If you can afford it, go for it 100%

Can handle the yanks, done Disney and Mexico a few times.

Misses has her heart set on the beaches Turks & Caicos was this the one that you were at? It certainly gets good reviews and if it keeps her happy for a couple weeks I'll be happy.

I've been to Windjammer Landing in St Lucia - it's one of those resorts which look nice in the brochure but ain't that nice when you're there!

they only do at 4 location's. It's the sandals company but they have 4 seperate hotels called beaches that are for families. The sandals hotels are still adults only.

Will have a look at the windjammer one.
