Please.
Going up to Invergordon in The Highlands of Scotland.
Never been been before so don't know anything about it or where to stay, etc.
Anyone got any knowledge of the place and/or recommendations.
Preferably a guest house/B&B for one week from 15th June for 2 people.
Thanks in advance.

Is there a very specific reason you need to be in Invergordon itself - off all the places to stay in the Highlands this would not be one I would recommend I'm afraid. Nearby, the Black Isle has some lovely wee villages or Strathpeffer, near Dingwall is nice as is Dornoch.

I agree, try the Morangie Hotel ( no idea of the prices now ),just outside Tain, North of Invergorden, and travel either North or to the West, there is of course the Glen Morangie distillery there too!!!!!! ( 15 year old is the one to start with.) Travel back down ( to civilization ) past Fort William and Glencoe pass, very picturesque. Try Kincraig House-2 miles from Invergorden and Delny House-3 miles from same.

A rather close mate works there lovely eye candy, if you're into hobbits, I mean small guys.Anyhoo, it's a top notch hotel...lots of foreign tourists. Highly recommend it, if you can afford it.
Oh to add to the directions, it's about 3 miles North of Balintore

Post on the Scotland Forum, quite an active PH contingent from the Highlands/Black Isle area that will be only too happy to advise.
Scottish wakes can be almost as good as Irish ones.
But carefull, it usually whisky for the gents and sweet sherry for the ladies
