October - 5* All Inclusive - Where?

We usually go away for a week in October to Cyprus for a little winter sun. The hotels previously stayed at have claimed a 5* rating (Azia Blue, Paphos) but on each occasion they were more 4* IMHO. Our little girl will be nearly 4 this time around so we would like good childrens facilities etc. We also feel that owing to the amount of snacks/drinks etc. consumed last time, and added to the fact that we dined exclusively at the hotel, we might try the all inclusive option out.

So, we're looking for a quality hotel in beach location, not too large, good pool, facilities and activities for children, weather 20+ degrees average and minimal chance of rain. Have thought about Thailand, Sri Lanka, Malaysia or maybe Mexico if things settle down. We would also happily stay closer to home if we could get a quality, REAL 5* hotel.
Budget around £3.5k all in.

Any suggestions?
