OK, so a few of us have decided to do a day trip to northern France for lunch (well, why not smile) in mid July.

After reccomendations for restaurants either in Le Touquet itself or the surrounding area/nearby towns please.

Seafront would be nice, but happy to be pursuaded otherwise. Just as long as its nice, preferrably oustide (and pray for the weather) and most importantly has parking for a dozen cars and/or easy parking nearby.

Fish would be good (seems more 'summery') but as we are a mixed group then something that covers all the bases would be better...

TIA smile

Zen.

I was often in LeTouquet for various reasons and stayed at the Novotel at the end of the beach, Restaurant with marvellous views of the
sea :-) is rather good, with underground parking or parking for guests, otherwise the surroundings are parking-wise a bit tricky, especially during week-ends or holiday-time. Ask the Hotel, they can maybe cordon-off some places for your cars, language no problem for them.

Another place is Etaples, a nice fishing-port with a very known (fish of course)restaurant there :

I don't remember the parking situation there unfortunately...
Mostly less crowded...
or try this:

For LeTouqet general infos here:

Tourist Offices all speak English :-)

Another nice place is here, not far from the Novotel:

Have you been to Le Touquet before?

I was not overly impressed and would suggest lunch in Honfleur instead - quieter and prettier than Le T and restaurants line the old habour - spectacular.

Yes, have been to Le Touquet a couple of times. Have also done Honfluer several times (from land & sea) and agree with you completely, but some of my touring party didnt fancy hammering up and down the peages all day. They would rather a scenic tour, bimble around, lunch and back again and I thought Honfluer may be just that little too far.
