Find me a late summer break please....

Anyone able to help?

Want to take OH away for a surprise break at the end of Sept (her birthday is on 20th so ideally on that day)

Budget of 500 quid each


Problems are:

She wont travel far (3-4 hours max)
She would want sun and sea type stuff
Has to be a decent place not Ibiza/Blackpool!

Try the canary Islands, they will still be hot that time of year.

Have used them the last 3 or 4 times and everthing has gone well.

Ditto - 4 hour flight, but the weather should be good.

Do some research to ensure you don't end up in the wrong resort. I'd recommend Playa Blanca in Lanzarote

Canary Islands are a good shout. Used to go there with family a few years back and there are some very nice non-pissed up Brits areas to stay.

How about Croatia or maybe somewhere in the Greek Islands.
