Hi all, Looking for some advice.

Wanting to take my ex away for a weekend, as we are thinking about getting back together. Looking at spending roughly £250 on accomodation. I'd prefer somewhere quiet, scenic. Hopefully with some decent roads locally. wink

Thanks in advance.

If you are in yorkshire I;d suggest the lakes, you can be alone if thats your thing to laugh and cry and the last time I took a woman there she would get totally naked at the top of every hill ffs.

Oh we stayed at various pubs etc, there are literally thousands so loads to choose from.

She just got naked without prompting, it might have been the fresh air and solitude on top of some of the hills smile

Scottish west coast, breathtaking beauty. You're half way there and there is plenty of empty accomodation at this time of year. Also the midges aren't out in force yet.

You could do the road to the isles out to Mallaig, get the Cal Mac over to Skye (visit the Talisker distillery) and come back over the bridge.
Personally I would not book accomodation and would just B&B it. Have done this many times and it adds to the adventure. The B&Bs all know each other so even if one is full they can always find you a bed somewhere.
If you are a planner then use trip advisor http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/ to find you the right accomodation.

It depends how many miles you want to do.
A low milage city break option would be Edinburgh. Lots of interesting stuff to do for anyone. These days laughing at Scottish bankers has been added to the sport.

If she's serious about this, wherever you go, make sure she gets her wallet out. wink
