As the title - We're planning a week in the Cotwolds in July and we need something that's reasonably priced (possibly even a mobile home - giant caravan jobbie) - Does anyone know of a website or anything that I can go to so as to find some information on costs?

(Or does anyone have a place I can rent....)?

What about an old ambulance converted into a motorhome?

Try The Ridge Guesthouse, just outside Bourton on the Water. Very nice, and in a good location.

You could try this site - http://www.waterpark.org/leisure/self_catering_ren.... Might have something of use.

Don't forget to avoid the few days up to, and the weekend of the 18-19th July though if you are planning on anywhere in the Cirencester vicinity ... wink

A small matter of the world's biggest military airshow decending on Fairford and the subsequent huge price hike for accomodation within a 20 mile radius (oh, and the fact most of it is booked up months in advance!) ... smile

The other option could be rent a barge/boat on the river?

I don't know where you can stay, but if you end up near North Woodchester go for a pint and a decent meal at The Royal Oak. Don't start talking cars to PH freindly landlord (Louis) or you might sink too many to drive home...
