There is a wonderful place called Manumission that you must take the wife and kids to. The pizzas are brilliant.

Family holiday? laugh

The isle itself is very nice, assuming you get a car and head out away from the main touristy parts. I stayed in SA bay on a lads holiday, it's a bit better than SA itself but not really what I'd call a family resort!

Pizzas are off the menu for Mrs.911 as she is convalessing after a recent trauma; hence the restfull holiday to sunnier climes.
Please tell me this is a pisstake.
Let me get this right, you're going to San Antonio in Ibiza for a restful family holiday to convalesce? confused

Ibiza itself has a bad reputation, mainly due to riff-raff in San Antonio, but the island as a whole is actually really nice.

Get a car and head up to the North and East of the island and it's very picturesque.

You don't want to be in San Antonio if you're 'convalescing' though

Nice one. Ibiza is a lovely island for much more than just clubbing, get a car and see the whole island.

I've been to San An as a young man for the obligatory drunken week away with the boys. San Antonio isn't 'that' bad as long as you avoid Bar Street; even as an 18 year old I didn't find the practice of hoards of drunken kids barfing all over the street then rolling in it blind drunk acceptable.
I wouldn't recommend San Antonio to a family unless it was a daytime visit, but the rest of the island has plenty to offer everyone. My parents next door neighbours spend 6 months a year out there and they are proper Meldrews...
