We spell New York...

Well if that's the case, how do you spell Miami and Nevis and Orlando?

Cos that's where I'm going. Anyone else been to Nevis? Anything unmissable there?

I'm not looking forward to the Orlando bit, but it's unavoidable. Is there anything OTHER than touristy st that I might do during the 3 days I am there (whilst OH at a big conference)?

I would like to go wakeboarding one day and will have a car but won't want to drive far.

Dali Museum in St Petersburg is a reasonable drive from Orlando.

Its where 'The Hallucinogenic Toreador' hangs and its worth seeing that just for the sheer scale of it.

The Kennedy Space Centre... oops... Center... is the least "touristy ooh wow look at this awesome fun fun fun" ste, assuming you find science interesting.

You could also do a NASCAR ride or try a fully auto machine gun (if that kind of thing takes your fancy). I had a go at a H&K MP5. For a brief moment, I was SWAT taking down nasty terrorists.

There's that sea world thing. The tricks the killer whale can do is impressive. And you can check out manatees before we wipe them off the face of the earth. hippy

Thanks both... I especially like the sound of the Dali museum...

I wouldn't go to Sea World on principle. I think I'd find my OH's Cancer Conference more appealing!!!

Maybe the Space Centre - if I am at a total loss.

What about Nevis? any ideas on that - although only there for 4 days so I expect to do very little and a lot of chilling out.

OWC - close to the Convention Center and right alongside 528 (Beachline) between Orange Blossom Trail and Orange Ave.

Perfect! Thanks so much, that's ideal! I think his conference is at the Convention Centre so I guess we'll be staying nearby.

Hate to disappoint, but you really won't find the car much use wakeboarding - it'll sink, or maybe will float a bit, but it isn't going to pull you along on a wakeboard.

Think out of the box! Drive alongside a river, towing boarder in river doing their thing.

That's ok.

Please continue to fluff my thread.

I'm going to Miami then Nevis then back to Miami before Orlando.

I am happy for you to jest at the expense of my poor sentence construction - given the above.
